Plot Summary
It’s been a few months since I started my job as a therapist to cover up the fact that I was just a succubus preying on humans’ sexual energy to survive. An unexpected visit from the right-hand man of the King of Hell was about to change that though.
Damien informed me that the King had a mission for me. I was handed a notebook that contained information about many influential and powerful people, and I was to seduce them and make sure they were sinners rather than saints.
The first man on the list was Ethan Williams, the Chief of Police in this city. Seems like he gets turned on when he places female suspects in handcuffs. Lucky for him, he hasn’t acted upon his urges yet.
But what happens when he’s locked in a room with a succubus who’s willing to be cuffed and taken advantage of? And I wonder what other dark dirty secrets a man of authority like Chief Williams hold?
Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on July 22, 2025
You can’t run from your past forever, and it seems that Scarlett has run out of time. Hell has been watching, and they have plans for her and they don’t involve her being a therapist but the temptress she is.
Following from the prior work, the twist comes in Scarlett being informed that Hell has a plan, it involves her, and if she wants to remain on Earth, she’ll go along with it. The plot puts her into a corner, things are going to change, but there’s one last patient to “help” and it’s one that Hell will be testing her on. What follows is another series of erotic sex scenes with a good deal of heat. They focus on a few fetishes well and then the story closes before the future awaits Scarlett.
While I do like Scarlett very much, she is a delightfully naughty thing, the adding of Hell’s direction into the series seems to be taking something away from her, what she’s learned and the character development, and pulled it back a bit. I hope that’s not true, I still think there’s a lot of promise in her.
The addition of some needed background about Hell, what’s going on there, and some of the characters there, I thought was interesting. It’s a bit stereotypical in a way, a little expected overall, and that’s a shame. Still, it explained a few things I was wondering about, and I did like that.
Three out of five pitchforks.
While the shift in Scarlett’s life on Earth does make sense and pushes her out of her comfort zone towards what could be an interesting series of events, I wonder what will be lost of her shift in personality as well. Perhaps we’ll see that, or this will be just a step towards the series coming to a close.
