Plot Summary

Jes Anderson is finally dating someone. Sure, her boyfriend Seth Thomas is technically a half-incubus and his crazy succubus sister Lily kidnapped Jes’ best friend Amanda but hey—sometimes you have to take your wins where you can. Jes is still having nightmares, though instead of fire they mostly seem to involve stabbing. But Jes is headed to college now and she’s ready to move past the insanity and move forward with her relationship. She’s planning on relaxing and settling back into some semblance of a routine.

First impressions: her school year is not quite as relaxing as she'd anticipated. Her roommate is...quirky, to say the least. Her RA has a complicated relationship with the rules, and an even more complicated relationship with some guy. Her boyfriend suddenly starts acting distant—oh yeah, and then there’s the little thing where Jes starts seeing things nobody else can. There’s also classes to go to.

OK. College might be a little harder than she thought.
