One Year of SuccuWiki!

Today, December 1st, 2008 is the one year anniversary of the Wiki of the Succubi – SuccuWiki!

I had a goal of posting at least one article a day in the Wiki and when I post today’s article there will be 425 pages in it so far…

But what should the one year entry be?

I’ve had it in mind for ages now and I think that it is a perfect choice for the anniversary post…

It’s the book that brought my Eternal and I together…

A Personal Demon

I hope to have that article posted later today…

At the one yeat point, there have been a total of 154,819 page views of the Wiki of the Succubi and that is something that has truly amazed me…

There is still tons of things to add to the SuccuWiki of course…

Probably always will be…

But that’s all part of the fun!

Succubi Stock Index Week 30

 

The closing pricing as of November 28th, 2008…

 

Giving an index price of: $26.85 24.96. Up $1.89 on the week…

So this past Friday was the US’s Black Friday. For those that do not know, that is the day where the retail sector moves into making a profit… Or they are supposed to…

I don’t see that happening this year. Lots of people looking but few buying much…

There is some optimism I think appearing… Or the other possibility is that since the US Thanksgiving holiday was this week, that the markets took a break…

That has happened before…

Enjoy your holiday if you hare having one…

Since when are Succubi ghosts?

Misconceptions…

Gosh they are fun aren’t they?

Especially in this article…

Honestly…

It’s nice to just look in Wikipedia for information and then repeat it mostly… I also just love the image she used in the article… A ghost? Seriously?

Anyway… At least she had the decency not to confuse vampires into this as well…

Oddly, I find it interesting that the idea of an Incubus only for women and a Succubus for men still is being repeated…

I also found it interesting that there was no discussion over what the Succubi or Incubi look like…

It was nice to put a link in the story to the Hell on Earth series of books.. That shows some class, but then there is a link to the Succubus: Hell Bent movie which in my view is a mistake…

There are better choices in the movie world.

Succubi Image of the Week 49

Over the past week I have gotten in my mailbox some lovely images of Succubi, but the problem is that not one of them has a single bit of information on the artist that drew them…

And that is just driving me nutty…

For those that take the time to read my notes, could you please at the least attach the URL where you found the image so I can try to backtrack it and figure out who drew them?

I want to thank all of the people in the past week that have made comments on image pages in the Tale so very much…

By doing so, I have managed to connect artists to their drawings and give them the credit and links they so richly deserve…

For this week’s Succubi image, I have another unknown artist’s image… I’m hoping that someone will recognize the work and direct me to the artist’s site again…

It’s a beautiful soft artwork, the wings are beautifully made and it has a lovely air of mystery around it all…

Hopefully someone will recognize it!

Site Updates and stuff…

So last night, I did an update to all of the software that runs the different sections of Succubus.net…

It took about 4 hours to get through all of it…

Medawiki was irritating to update… One-click updating it isn’t and I always worry that running one of the updating programs will wipe out all of the SuccuWiki…

WordPress was it’s usual non-headachyness…

But then…

Oh then we come to phpBB…

I’ve started working on the Succubi Forum finally and I’m trying to get up to speed on the software and modifying it and so on…

And that was going well I thought…

But then, last night, the update to the newest version of phpBB…

That killed everything that I had entered into the Forum so far…

So this morning I am back to square one and beginning again…

FYI.

The Forum I expect will not be live and accepting members until just before Christmas…

Oh!

Something else!

If anyone has suggestions for individual boards on the Forum, let me know?

At this point I have Announcements, Images, Stories, Off Topic and then comes the two different RP Boards – Succubus, for those that want to RP the traditional kind and then Succubi, for those that want to RP in my Realm of the Succubi…

All ideas welcome!

Another Example of a lousy Succubus Costume

So my search continues for a Succubus or Demoness costume that doesn’t look tacky…

Once again this week I have had no luck…

First the sort-of-good find…

All I can think of when I look at this is Succubus Riding Hood…

And I can tell you that my blue and white latex Succubi Bo Peep costume is a lot better than this outfit is…

Considering that I spent at least 50 times more on my outfit than this is worth…

Anyway… Succubus Red Riding Hood’s outfit is $30 US and can be found in a lot of online costume shops…

Which brings me to the other thing I found today…

It’s… Well it’s light up horns and a wig…

Seriously I can’t believe that someone made that…

$25 US… Not even considering it…
