A cute dancing Succubi YouTube

A cute little YouTube that I stumbled across today on the Tale. I don’t know anything about the characters, but I think they’re cute, they do look like Succubi and overall this just makes me smile.

If you cannot see this video here on the Tale, please try this link.

As usual, in the event that YouTube removes this video, here’s a screenshot of the three Succubi… dancing… sort of.

This just makes me giggle honestly, and I’ll admit there’s a story that I’m mulling over about something like this in the Realm, but that’s another story. That said, it’s just the mix of cuteness and fun these three are having that makes this a delight.

I’m so-so on the music, but then I suppose hyperactive succubi need hyperactive dance music?

Succubi Image of the Week 544

As last week’s Succubi was Morrigan Aensland, I think it’s very fitting that this week’s Succubi is her sister Lilith. It’s really very difficult to find Lilith Aensland art, her sister does, after all, get all of the attention. But Lilith is a power onto herself and there is some art that does, in many ways, reflect that really well.

Lilith Aensland by kai

Lilith Aensland by kai

I found this art on Pixiv, it’s by an artist called kai and you can find the original page on Pixiv where I found this art here.

I think Lilith’s just adorably cute here in so many ways. Wonderful smile, her pose is perfect for her character and the chair back is shaped in such a delightfully fun way. There’s a little hint of mischievousness which I find appealing, but also there’s just something about how Lilith’s hand is posed by her lips that makes her smile that much more perfect.

Amazing detail from Lilith’s wings to her ever-so deep eyes. Overall a lovely portrait of Lilith and it’s one of my most favourite images of her.

It’s pink and trashy as a Devil Costume which says it all

Pink Devil CostumeI keep thinking I’ve found the most awful of devil costumes. I assure myself that I can’t possibly find something that’s worse that everything else that I have found. I keep resisting the temptation to add negative numbers to my pitchfork ratings. This week’s costume may change my mind.

This is something I stumbled across on eBay and it’s so incurably trashy that I can’t find the words to describe it,

It’s called, so wonderfully accurately, the Pink Devil Costume and it comes with the vinyl bustier and skirt, the pink horn headband, tail and pitchfork. Shockingly the wig isn’t included, and I mean that sarcastically, and it was on sale for $15 US.

I just cannot find the words to how awful this looks, nor can I express the pain I have looking at this. It’s so utterly cheap looking and that’s something which cannot be overcome.

Zero pitchforks out of five and that’s being very generous I think.

However, there are somer things that can be found on eBay which have… possibilities.

This however isn’t one of them.

Wisdom By TeraS

It was Father’s Day yesterday and I found myself thinking that I’ve talked about my relationship with my mom and haven’t really told a story about my Eternal’s relationship with his father. Today then, a story that has one foot in the Realm and another in Reality.

There are lessons we learn through our own experiences. There are lessons which are handed down from generation to generation. They become part of us, of who we are, and, put together, these become one’s …

Wisdom
By TeraS

The ratchet clicked slowly as a hand covered in grime worked away with purpose. It was always—always, mind you—the very last thing that needed to be tightened that was the biggest pain-in-the-ass to get done. From time to time, a bead of sweat formed upon his brow before running down the bridge of his nose and falling off into space. He thought that one particular nut had been started, that he’d finally gotten somewhere, when the tool wobbled, his hand shifted, and both his weapon of choice against his foe and the foe itself went clattering down and into the darkness beneath.

He remained there for a time, leaning against the cover that protected his work, gathering his thoughts. A deep breath was followed by blowing it out and considering what to do next. Oh it wasn’t a total disaster, not even close, but it was irritating that this was taking so long.

His thoughts turned towards lessons he’d learned so long ago, the time spent with his father, learning the how’s and why’s of things. Turning his hands over, he regarded them, noting that they weren’t as large, nor calloused, nor had they been used to make and create in the way he’d seen him do. But then he’d created in different ways, been able to construct, to build, to make a different sort of thing than what he’d been taught from before. The wisdom, in that knowledge, was in knowing that one’s own talents would be and what would come would.

That still didn’t mean, however, that he could walk away from things. Lessons learned.

If you put your mind to it, you’ll figure it out.

The memory was very old, one of the first, and he replied to himself: “Right, Dad.”

Pushing off, he stood up and looked around, considering his options. A wry smile came as he crouched down, positioning himself to get around the obstacles and retrieve the prize that had slipped out of his grasp. Shimming beneath, arm outstretched, his thoughts tickled over the first time he’d watched his father working, listening to the comments made about this and that, never raising his voice, never refusing a question, trying to pass on some wisdom that his son might hold onto.

His fingers brushed over the nut, drawing it out and setting it aside before going back to locate the ratchet and socket that had eluded him earlier. It took a bit longer, but they surrendered to his search in time. Rolling onto his back, he regarded the tools thoughtfully: simple things that to most would be ordinary, almost ignored, save for when they were needed. But these were part of his first tool set. Oh, that wasn’t much at the time, but they had been handed down from father to son, and in that came still more memories.

Right tool for the job isn’t always the one you expect.

The light outside reflected off the chrome handle as he considered it. It was a perfectly acceptable tool for the job. Whether it was the exact right one could be debated. His chuckle recalled the discussions over tools, machines, and other things that needed adjustment and fine tuning from time to time.

The job won’t finish itself.

Gathering up what he’d lost moments ago, his walk to the bench was accompanied by consideration of what he’d have done. The racket of the ratchet and nut seemed hollow on the metal table. Again, memories came of work benches covered in parts and pieces, tools and equipment, the sounds of his father’s realm coming back as he stood there in his own. His eyes roamed over the bench, picking out this tool or that, noting the things waiting to be picked up and brought to their purpose in whatever needed to be done. Like father, like son: walking away from a challenge simply wasn’t their way.

Holding the nut between two fingers, he came to a decision. The right tool was obvious. The job was going to be finished. With purpose, he leaned back into position, slipped the nut into its proper place, and got it snugged down far enough that one quick turn with the ratchet was enough to finish the job, and he’d figured it out himself. The hood had just been locked into position, and hands were being wiped on an old rag when the phone rang.

The number was familiar, and he smiled as he answered the call.

“Hey, Dad, how are you doing?”

An interesting Pastel Goth Succubus WIP YouTube

While looking around Tumblr the other day, I found an artist who had created a unique succubus and, soon after, I also came across the YouTube they posted of the creation of this art. The character I think is very interesting, the artwork is wonderful and I wanted to share this art today on the Tale…

In the event you cannot see this video here on the Tale, please try this link.

As the artist shared the completed artwork on Tumblr, you’ll find the work below. You can find this artist’s Tumblr here and this artwork can be found here as well.

Her eyes are wonderfully mysterious but that’s just where the story begins. She does have a very Goth look about her, but at the same time there’s a unique personality that’s peeking through the edges that I think is delightful. The patterns in her top are striking, they make for a very strong counterpoint to the overall muted tones of the work. The pose is very unique, but it shows off her form and style nicely.

A cute tail, her horns work well with her overall body shape as well. The shoes interest me, not just in they are the single light colour in the work, but more of why this character might have chosen them over other things.

It’s a unique work, the character has a strong personality about her and I really like that most of all…

Please do visit KatHarpy’s Tumblr page and enjoy the rest of her work!

Succubi Image of the Week 543

It’s been a bit since Morrigan Aensland was featured as the Succubi of the Week on the Tale and the image I came across I think is striking in a lot of ways. Perhaps most of all there’s a very regal feeling to her pose and expression that just works really well.

Morrigan by chitobein

Morrigan by chitobein

This art of Morrigan is by an artist on DeviantArt called chitobein who’s page can be found here and the page where I found this artwork can be found on DeviantArt here as well.

Much of the time art of Morrigan is somewhat focused on her sexuality, which isn’t a surprise, but it then pushes into the background the power she is. She’s more than what she appears to be and it’s that aspect about Morrigan that I like most of all.

The background seems to suggest a gathering storm, Morrigan defiantly standing against it. The sheer determination in her expression, the pose that suggests she is about to go into battle I think tells a wonderful story.

Morrigan’s determination and will speaks for itself and this art, in many ways from the wind sweeping her hair, the detail in her wings, the bats in motion above her, expresses that well.

A wonderfully powerful portrait of Morrigan’s determination and I like that most of all.

Shiny and red is a start, but it’s still tacky as a Devil Costume

Forplay Devil CostumeThere seems to be a theme this year in devil costumes and that seems to be red and shiny. Now, I do like latex more than vinyl and overall just being shiny isn’t really enough to make a costume something more than tacky.

Perhaps the problem is that using the same template, over and over again for different costumes means that there’s little left for making them better.

This is called the Forplay Devil Costume and it comes with the red bodysuit and the rather plain looking horns. The whip and boots are not included, nor is the necklace this model is wearing, and it sells for $60 US.

This is one of those examples where the base costume needs a lot of accessories to make it work and in this case, doing so would bring this up to $175 US.

It’s disappointing to note that I don’t care for the costume at all, but the boots… oh the boots I do rather like. Even the whip makes me smile and that’s really saying something.

Still, for the costume alone, as bare as it is, I’ll give this one pitchfork out of five.

I want the boots however… for… reasons….
