A Review of Succubus Next Door: MILF Stacey Dominates Young Nerd by Skylar Succubus

There are stories in which the main character being a succubus is vital to the storytelling. Then there are stories where being a succubus really doesn’t have all that much to do with the story. They are succubi, they give a hint of their powers, but after than the story leaves the succubus theme behind to focus on the erotica alone.

I find that becomes rather uninteresting overall. Sex alone isn’t a really good story and not developing the characters, succubus or not, leaves a lot to be desired. Erotica should have more depth and tell more of a story than what happens between the sheets after all.

The work tells of:

Ever since Stacey had become a succubus she had an insatiable urge to feed on the sexual energies of men. When a well-hung new neighbour comes into her life she doesn’t hesitate to use her charms, and succubus powers, to add him to her growing list of conquests. The busty MILF next door wants him in every hole over and over until he’s completely drained. How could he possibly resist?

Becoming a succubus wasn’t exactly what Stacey had expected her life, or rather afterlife to be. But a choice made turned into a second chance, even if that involved sex and the slight side effects being a succubus can have on others. Still, it’s not a terrible thing to be a sexy MILF, except for the constant hunger, and when the next door neighbor turns out to be a delicious college morsel, how can she refuse?

The work is mainly a MILF seduction story with the main character Stacey also happening to be a succubus. There’s a fair bit of storytelling in how she became a succubus at the beginning and there’s little parts telling of her powers here and there. But really this story focuses mainly on Stacey being a seductress, trapping the focus of her desires, and having her way with him.

The erotica has some heat, though it’s more of an adult movie sort of way overall. It’s a bit rushed, a little over the top and it feels like the story just moved in as much as a hurry as possible so that Stacey was able to get her hands on Jack and make him do what she wanted.

While Stacey is described as a succubus, and she has the powers of one, there are no horns or tail to be found. There’s also really not enough time spent on Stacey using her powers given that so much of the story focuses on what the two of them do together. There are a few really hot moments of mind control but they aren’t explored fully and that was a shame.

I’d have liked for Stacey’s succubus side to be more present than just in passing. There’s too much time spent on the sex and not nearly enough in the character development, which there could have been a lot more of. Stacey is interesting and should have been a lot more so by the end of the story.

It really doesn’t make any difference to the story that Stacey is a succubus or not. It’s more a MILF seduction story than anything else which really is a shame. Still, the ending offers something for a follow on story that could be interesting if for nothing else than Stacey’s domination to lure another soul to her. Perhaps that will happen, it would offer some really interesting possibilities.
