Succubi Image of the Week 492

I like the idea of Succubi appearing in science fiction. I think that’s a really attractive idea, and one of the ones I’ve been pondering for some time is sort of an alien race of succubi making their way across the cosmos. Now, obviously, there will be erotica, but then there needs to be something a bit adventurous as well. For this week’s succubi, a piece of art that I just found… fascinating.

This work, called Succubus Linai is by the artist Mooarc and you can find the original page on DeviantArt where I found this work here.

This particular character was a commission for another DeviantArt user who was creating a science fiction series and you can find their page on DeviantArt here. There’s no sign of the story, which is a shame really as this character just looks right in so many ways.

I love the mix of the almost medieval feel of her armour and the more modern aspects of the weapons she is holding. But more than that, there’s a presence about her in how she’s posed, the expression in her eyes. What her story might be is a delicious thing to ponder as well. Perhaps there will be more about the story behind this art sometime, it would be nice to see.

Wonderful detail in her armour, hair, wings and horns, and those are just some of the many details that bring her to life. The only thing she’s missing is a tail, which I find myself missing quite a lot here…

Medieval? Are you kidding? Do you know how difficult it is to find a flight suit that allows one to spreads her wings and still display her girlish figure properly? Those “Star Trek” chicks had it easy! *winking*
