Succubi Image of the Week 408

Quite a unique image of Morrigan Aensland this time for the Succubi of the Week… When I look at this art, I feel like it is sort of something you might find in a book of spells and i think that’s an interesting thought…

This work is by an artist on Pixiv called Barachan and you can find the original page with this art here.

I think this is one of the most unique images of Morrigan that I have seen. I am not sure whether this is more of an image in a spell book sort of thing or, as I think about this more, possibly some sort of Tarot card image?

The question then becomes…. What does Morrigan represent then?

Setting that question aside, I just really like the style and flair of this art, how vibrant and alive Morrigan is here and how she looks. She’s a bit Manga in form I suppose, but I think that adds a lot of depth to this art.

There’s a kind of wildness here, perhaps a bit of uncontrolled passion or power that, in a lot of ways, seems to capture much of Morrigan herself…

Quite the powerful image and one that I do like simply for how unique it is..

Ah, my friend, you have drawn the card of Morrigan.

Do you find yourself getting warm?

This is the card of desire and rapture. Someone who chooses it is desired by someone who is powerfully seductive, and may not yet know it.

Do you find yourself getting warm?

The card of Morrigan represents endless desire and the probability of irresistible seduction. When the image of Morrigan appears, a woman of undeniable sexuality and sensuality had chosen you. She is seeking you, biding her time, waiting for her moment, and, when she is ready, when she knows you are ready, she will reveal herself to you.

You do find yourself getting warm, don’t you?

Now, some think that beings like Morrigan destroy their lovers, suck the life out of them, copulate them to death. But that is an exaggeration; those are lovers who have weak constitutions, bodies, and wills. The woman who chose them tried to be gentle, but those lovers just couldn’t keep up. Someone like you . . . you can keep up, can’t you? I can tell by those green eyes . . .

You are getting quite warm, especially between your legs, aren’t you?

You have nothing to fear . . . unless you had some hope of saying “no,” of course. Because the card next to Morrigan’s card, that is the card of long life and stamina. I think you are in for quite a workout.

And you do find yourself to be so very warm, yes?

I’d invite you to remove that stylish red jacket, to cool yourself a bit, but I can see you won’t be staying long. I can see your time has come.

    Turn around . . .

  1. Very Celtic with a hint of Anime, too.

Very vivid coloration and intricate background: I’m reminded of the works of Irish artist Jim Fitz-Patrick.

As for the Tarot card, that’s a tough one. I’m kind of thinking The Devil. She’s certainly major arcana.
