Succubi Image of the Week 336

Not all Succubi have horns and or tails of course… While that is a personal preference there are some works of Succubus art that give me pause to wonder about them. Many times it is the look in her eyes, what she is doing at that moment, or the questions of who she might represent…

And every once in a while it can be something as simple as a slice of apple…

White Succubus by Solomandra

This is called White Succubus, and is by an artist on DeviantArt named Solomandra. You can find the original page with this work here and this artist’s page on DeviantArt is here as well…

This is a really unique image in a lot of ways… The detail is amazing in her expression, eyes, skin, the texture of her hair, the fabric of her clothing. There is so much to look at as a whole, but looking at all of the little touches that give her so much personality makes this something much more…

I love her outfit, it is just the right mix of sensuality and personality. Her wings being a match and part of her overall colours is lovely, the seeping of red there and elsewhere in the work I think hints at her… other side shall we say. There is beauty here, but within it also comes a hint of the wildness that is also part of her.

I wish she had a tail… horns too I admit just to have the overall effect of them, but as well I look at this art and she really does not need those touches for the personality that she has…

I don’t see her to be evil, and that isn’t just in her colours. Her expression and how she is slightly hunched over puts the thought into my mind that she has been rejected many times for false reasons and this time she still has the hope of things being different.

The apple seems like temptation here in the sea of white. A speck of red that draws you closer to taste of it and find her truths…

Another story idea?

Lovely art and please do visit this artist’s site!
