How can something like this be called BeDevilled?

The word Bedevilled, at least to me, projects sexiness, seduction, and most of all, not a hint of trashy or tackiness. It should honestly, but then some costume companies likely didn’t get the memo on that…

BeDevilled Sexy Devil Costume

This is called the BeDevilled Sexy Devil Costume and it comes with the red flame detailed dress, a pair of horns, the red choker, and the tail which you can just see she is wearing…

The stockings and the shoes are not included, and it sells in various sites on the web for $47.99… If you add the stockings and the shoes, the entire costume would be about $75.

There is so much not to like about this costume and the model herself just has a look that seems to be as if she is wondering how she managed to get talked into wearing this disaster…

The horns have to be about the worst ones I have seen in some time, though I am surprised that they managed to make the horns match the tail and the flame accents on the dress, not to mention the choker as well.

The biggest problem with this is the level of tackiness is so high that any sexiness that exists in this costume is overwhelmed by it. Considering that the entire look isn’t possible without buying more items as well, that makes it more disappointing again.

The only means to make this a bit better I think would be to somehow get rid of the flames along the sides of the dress at least so that it’s not quite so tacky. The, for lack of a better description, boob-flames can stay, but the choker and the horns also have to go.

I’d want the stockings and the shoes, they do help a lot honestly, but without them, this really isn’t all that special to me.

As an entire look, as it is, I’m hesitant to give this one and a half pitchforks out of five. But looking just at what the costume along provides, a hald pitchfork is about all that I can give it….

And that’s being more than generous honestly…

You are right; half a pitchfork is too generous.

But “bedeviled” means to be upset, unnerved, and generally flummoxed by something or someone. In the case of succubi, that should be sexuality and seduction.

In the case of this costume, I’d go with “Nauseated Devil.”

I hate that stupid flame pattern on the really bad succubus costumes. She’s a sexy demoness, not a refurbished car! Worst thing is that you just know some poor sap in a third world country had to spend twelve hours sowing this thing together. “Broken Nose Jiang wants a demon costume? I’ll give him a demon costume…”

I wonder if there is a costume somewhere that is called “Nauseated Devil”?

    Somehow I expect there is…
