Desires – Needs
By BFSlave and Tera S
The moment stretched on, it seemed, forever. There was just something about him. Something so different from the usual beings that she had encountered so far. She stretched her senses towards him tentatively so as not to make him turn and run away. She brushed against his thoughts with her mind and a little soft smile tugged at her lips playfully. She sighed a little and thought, “You don’t belong here. These awful heartless women that play with your heart and soul are only doing you harm and pain…”
She looked at him until the crowd on the dance floor passed between them, and the spell was broken. She considered him for a moment. He won’t come over here. It wouldn’t be like him to do that….
As the crowd parted between them again she stood up and turned towards him. She brushed her hands over her hips to smooth out her dress, and then raised a hand to brush an errant lock of her hair back behind her ear. She focused on him to the exclusion of all else in the room and began to walk towards him slowly. The crowd swirled around her as she walked towards him. As she blinked in and out of view he could almost feel her fingers touching his cheek to make sure he didn’t look away.
As she passed the middle of the dance floor, a group of dancers enveloped her and she vanished from view. As they parted he didn’t see her there any more…
But then he heard a voice beside him. It was soft and sultry, passionate and loving, light and playful. He almost shivered as her words came to him wrapped in a hint of mischief…
“Would you mind some company from a lost soul?”
As he turned to his right, he found her sitting there beside him. She was close to him, but not so close as to make him pull away from her. Her hands were folded in her lap and she simply allowed him to take a long slow look at her up close. As he did, she leaned towards him revealing the deep cut of her dress. She so very carefully slipped his drink from his hand and then raised it to her lips. She parted her lips and took a sip from the drink and then set it back onto the bar with a smile.
“I find regular Coke so sweet…. And you are sweet enough aren’t you?”
Not the best of lines as things go is it?
