Succubi Image of the Week 185

Time for another Morrigan Aensland piece of art as the Succubi Image of the Week on the Tale… This one generally I like very much save for one part of it that bothers me when you think about Morrigan and her attitude…

Morrigan Aensland by Cohan

Morrigan Aensland by Cohan

I have to say that I am guessing at the artist’s name here, the signature is really hard to understand and I think that it says Cohan, but I’m not sure.

I am sure that this is Morrigan however, all of the signs are there and there is little doubt that this is her. What I like is the softness of this work, it looks like it was done in coloured pencils and then rubbed with fingers to draw out the shadings and textures here…

I like the shimmering of her clothing and the depth in her fur trim and in her hair too. But where I come up a bit short is in her expression and face. It seems… off… somehow, it’s a bit hard to explain exactly.

Other than that little point, I do think this is a lovely tribute piece to Morrigan and I hope that someone reading this will have an idea of who the artist is…

Please leave a comment if you do!

I have no idea about the artist, but Morrigan’s expression strikes me as pensive, and, perhaps, perturbed. Someone has done something that has unsettled her.

    Might even happen to succubi.
