Succubi Image of the Week 179

It’s going to be somewhat of a two-for-one entry for the Succubi of the Week image this time. Now it’s not that you will see two images of Succubi today, but rather that I found two images that fit so very nicely into the mythos of the Succubi and Incubi that I have been creating here on the Tale and on as well…

And in that mythos, there is an Angel that I love so very much…

But first, the Succubi…

And now, the Angel…

You can click on either image for a larger version of these works of course as usual…

Both of these works are by the artist Juan Solorzano, who’s blog you can find here on Blogspot. The only thing is that the blog with these works and others seems to have been abandoned in 2009, and, unfortunately, the pages on Zazzle which are linked to by the artist no longer lead to pages were you can purchase prints of their work.

Now there is another blog that I found after googling a bit. It is also at Blogspot and it seems to be the same artist, but is is fairly new and there isn’t a lot there as yet, but the art is just amazing…

I have tried to contact this artist, I have been hoping to possibly be able to speak to them with regards to obtaining some of his works, but there has been no answer as yet. Which is disappointing to me as I would have lovely to collect at least two of each of these works.

One for myself and one for a certain Angel that I think would love them both…

The things that I love about both of these works is that it’s not about the sexuality of the subjects in the artwork, but it’s about their attitudes. There is a certain amount of dominance in both the Succubi and the Angel, but that is tempered by the underlying bemusement in their eyes and smiles which I think is a perfect touch for them both.

I also adore the fact that the Succubi has feather wings, which fits perfectly into the mythos of my Succubi, and to be honest I think that bat wings look wrong on Succubi anyway. It’s also telling to me that the wings of both of them are very similar save for the colours. Perhaps it could be said that they are two sides of a coin, both of which are temptingly beautiful and adorable to me…

Please do have a look at Juan’s sites and see all of the lovely art that he has created!

You know I already maintain that Collective succubi are kindred spirits to angels, and these pictures not only seem to follow that reasoning, but they also seem to represent my favorite succubi and angel (just give her a pitchfork).
