Sometimes I wonder about the names that are placed on some of the costumes for sale… They seem, on occasion, to be almost a joke or if not that, at least comical in nature… Like this one for example…
This, and I still cannot understand it, is called an Elegant Devil Costume… I’ll get to my disbelief in a moment over that naming, but first…
You receive in this costume set, the dress, a pair of horns as shown, and the armlets… The shoes and pitchfork are not included in this costume… They don’t help a lot anyway to be honest…
I find it very difficult to see the elegance in this costume, to be honest all that I can see is the tackiness in all of it…
So is there a way to save it? Well, the horns have to go, the armlets are worthless, so they go as well…. The dress itself needs a pair of scissors taken to it… a lot.
I think that shortening it to just above the knee would be useful, but the problem is that what’s left just doesn’t work at all to be honest. Thinking it over a little further, I had the thought of cutting the top away from the skirt and making it a crop-top. Then turning the bottom half into its own skirt…
You know, that might actually save this…
You can find this costume on the web for $60 USD…
I’m giving this costume one out of five pitchforks…
Some assembly requited…
