Ange Ou Demon

So it was Christmas shopping time yesterday, and I found myself looking at some perfume in one of the stores in the mall…

And came across this:

It’s called Ange Ou Demon, which translates roughly as Angel or Demon…

The write up at the counter reads:

Ange Ou Demon by Givenchy Perfume for Women is a scent that reveals a secretive, fascinating and mysterious woman whose ‘angelic air is a trap’. The charismatic fragrance is a floral-oriental at once crystalline and carnal. Even the facetted bottle evokes this mysterious and powerful duality, at once dark and light.

And reading the label on the package, you find that it contains:

Thyme Blanc, Mandarin, Safran, Orchid, Ylang Ylang, Fleur de Lys

Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Pallisander wood, Oak Absolute

Honestly I am not sure if I like it or not… It’s not exactly a subtle fragrance to my senses… I find myself using a very very very small amount for it lasts quite a long time…

Will I buy it again?

Time will tell, but so far it’s not making a huge impression on me…

Never any cherries in the ingredients. 😉

How stilted is the thinking behind at least the naming of this fragrance. Being a real person (and, in your case, more than that: a succubi), you are neither angel nor demon, Majesty. You are more and neither, a complete person of your own. It’s as if they ran the random word generator to find a name . . .

    An “innocent” day? Intriguing . . . 8)
