Baseball Players and Succubi Tattoos

You know that people have things tattooed on their bodies… I personally shiver at the whole idea, but that’s just me…

In any case, I was reading google news and came across something that I wasn’t aware of…

From the Toronto Star online article here:

Reedy Jays reliever Jesse Carlson lifts his sleeves. His right arm is a tattooed graveyard scene – imps, skulls and succubi. His left arm, his throwing arm, is free of artwork.

“This is the two sides of me,” Carlson said. “(My right arm) is what I’m representing (on the mound) – the darker side, the fiery side. (The left arm) isn’t done. That makes it good versus bad.”

A picture of Jesse from the Blue Jay’s official site:

Now I have to admit that I haven’t been to a baseball game in a while, so I can’t say that I have seen his tattoos… And it’s entirely possible that the writer mistook vampires for Succubi or something else…

But this really makes me curious and I’m going to have to see if I can get a picture of the tattoo to see what it is…

The writer was obviously confused, since we all know that succubi (especially succubi from Toronto) are not bad. 🙂 🙂
