Plot Summary

When 24-year-old vampire Thealla is accepted as one of the twenty young people chosen for the United States Junior Non-Human Congress, she knows she has an exciting year ahead of her. She just doesn’t know HOW exciting. The succubus representative suggests the Juniors get to know other in rather personal way – by doing a runaround. The ten of them who prefer men will stay in their own rooms, while the ten who prefer women will visit each room for forty-five minutes.

With two nights of five assignations each, Thealla has a lot to look forward to. What she doesn’t expect is to have sparks fly with the one man she didn’t think she would like – the Fae representative. As they get to know each other, Thealla realizes her fears about faeries are just prejudice. Amidst a time of political turmoil with many non-humans on the verge of revealing their presence to ignorant humans, Thealla has to learn how to make things work with a man from a wildly different background.
