Adding a listing of the board rules here.
There is a link at the top of each page to the rules page as well.
Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning (see policing below).
Flaming and Abuse
Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.
Offensive Material / Underage Material
Members should remember this board is aimed at an adult audience. However posting underage images, stories, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning and/or ban if repeated. In all circumstances the offending content will be removed by the moderating team without warning. Underage material is any images, stories or other media depicting a person or character of under 18 years of age.
If members note an issue which contravenes something in this policy document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the Moderator Team, either by pm or the report post feature. Members are asked to not act as "back seat moderators". Members who constantly "act" as moderators may be warned.
Works Posted Here
Members are asked to respect the works of other users who post images, manipulations, stories or other such works here. Posting such works to other sites without the permission of the creator of those works is prohibited. If you are posting something from another site, please consider adding a link to the original source if it is possible..
Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or coloured text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts. Users consistently abusing this will be warned.
Members should use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include; "This sucks!", "I hate this class!", etc. Examples of good titles include; "Have you read Succubus on Top?", "New Manip Posted by FreezeFrame - Delicious", etc.
Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. This includes offering services (charged and free), solicitation etc. Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed. See specific item on spam and 3rd party linking for more information. There is a board for approved links to other Succubi and Incubi sites which is patrolled and the links checked regularly. If you have such a link, place them in that board. If you have a question on this policy please contact a moderator.
The moderators reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Team Members and not users.
The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revocation of private messaging.
Text sizes should be between 75% and 100% (small and normal). Text in signatures is subject to the same conditions as posts with respect to decency, emoticons, and so forth.
Links in signatures are permitted to a maximum of four unique pages or sites. linked sites may be commercial in nature. You may not link to warez, political, racist or other similar hate sites. Links are included in signature size limits.
Signatures may contain up to five lines of text (of small or normal size) and/or one image, valid combinations include; a single image of no more than 100px high, 700px wide. Signatures containing an image this large may also include one line of small size text. Signatures containing an image of 60px high may include up to three lines of small size text or two lines of normal size text. Images of 25px height or less may allow up to three lines of normal size text or four lines of small size text.
Users abusing these rules will be warned and possibly stripped of their signature privileges.
Users are permitted to utilize a gallery avatar or to link to one of their own (subject to previous points on misuse of bandwidth). User defined avatars are to be no smaller than 20 pixels square and no larger than 130 pixels square, contain no image which attempts to portray the user as having an official status here (e.g. mimicking ranks or copying avatars of team members), and have a consistently high availability (i.e. links to images on slow servers or those prone to failure may be removed).
Avatars are subject to the same conditions as posts with respect to decency, and so forth. Users abusing these rules will be warned and/or may lose their avatar privileges.
3 Strike Policy
The Forum of the Succubi operates under a three strike policy. Users will be warned a maximum of three times for any and all offences in a three month period. If the need arises for a fourth warning, a temporary ban will be put in place of between 1 to 7 days at the discretion of the Administrators and Moderators of the Forum of the Succubi. HOWEVER please note The Forum of the Succubi adheres to a strict policy of Dun Piss off the Queen...
Arguing with moderators after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning. Should this exceed three strikes a temporary ban will be put in place as above.
Users who feel they have been unfairly warned are welcome to contact the relevant moderator, e.g. if warned by a moderator you should contact the Global Moderator or one of the Administrators. If they feel you were treated badly, they have the right to remove a warning.
Any attempt to circumvent a temporary ban will lead to that ban being made permanent. Circumvention includes re-registering under a non-banned username, changing IP addresses to evade an IP ban, registering a new email account to evade an email ban.
3 Strike Exception
An exception to the three strike rule applies when users contact moderators personally (via any method) and post insulting, indecent or vulgar material. Such users may be subject to an immediate permanent ban.
Permanent bans are a last resort, and a great deal of thought is given before implementing them. While The Forum of the Succubi may consider lifting permanent bans from time to time this is a rare occurrence.
Audio, Video, and Pictures
Do not post Audio, Video, Pictures, and Flash, a.k.a. media that includes advertisements/SPAM. Music is not allowed on the forums, unless it is an original song about Succubi or related topics. Media should not depict images of excessive violence, hate or bigotry. A/V depicting excessive violenbce, racism or bigotry will be removed and the user will be warned. Media is subject to the same conditions as posts with respect to decency, and so forth.
All media must conform to standard BB Code rules. Audio must be posted using the following BBCode:
Video must be posted using the following BBCode:
Please make sure the audio/video will play correctly before finalizing your post. Please make sure the audio/video will play correctly before finalizing your post. YouTube and GoogleVideo are supported for both hot linking and embedding.
Supported media formats
The site media player supports YouTube and GoogleVideo embedded in your post. For Audio it can play mp3, m4a, wma, and other widely used formats through hot links and the use of your browser. If your audio/video does not play in the media player, check your link. If it still does not play, then PM an administrator with your problem.
All role-playing scenes written in the RP Sections of the forum require that the players have the consent of those involved to play out the scene. Therefore, if you are playing out a scene of mind control, sex, bimboization, and so on, if the other player says no, IT MEANS NO. If you continue to play out the scene and a report is made to the Administration or Moderators about it, we will investigate it. Warnings will be issued if needed.
Members may post an entire article about their characters for archive purposes in the threads provided. You many include any pictures to illustrate the character. Remember that the more detailed you are the better your role-playing experience will be. In some cases, you may be contacted by the Administration to have your character added to the SuccuWiki. You may refuse this request if you so wish.
Normally for any RP thread on the forum, two threads are recommended. One for the RP itself, and then a second thread for the discussion of that RP for those involved. Please mark the second thread with *OOC* and the title of the RP.
Free-Form RP Threads
In some cases, the RP will not require an OOC thread or any in-depth character information. In these cases, no second OOC thread is necessary. Such decisions are at the decision of the RP creator.
Permission To Start New RP Threads
With the exception of any RPs that are set in the Realm RP Board. There is no permission needed to begin an RP. All RPs in the Realm RP Board MUST follow the rules and setting as set out in the SuccuWiki entry on the Succubi Collective.
Note About Pre-existing Characters in the RP Threads
Normally, when a user creates an RP character, that character is theirs alone. Portraying an RP character based on an existing member of this Forum without that members consent it strictly prohibited. If such a thing occurs, the ban policy may be enacted. If a user vanished from an RP during a scene without notice, generally their character will be retired until their return unless and if they are needed to complete a scene. Other users involved in the scene may finish the scene, but then that character will be retired.
All Forum Personas are the property of the user that has created them. No other ownership is assumed.
Use By Other Forum Members
It is against the rules to use the persona of a user in a story, manipulation, or other work without their permission. If you do and are asked to remove said work, please do so. If you do not and a compliant is made, removal by the Administrators and/or Moderators will occur. Reposting or other actions in response will result in a ban.
Secondary Accounts for RP characters
One secondary account is allowed for an RP character if you require one. Please note that you MUST mark in the signature that this is an RP character!
Note About Succubus.net Registrations
All sections of Succubus.net require separate registration. You do not have to register for the SuccuWiki or the Blog to be able to read them, but you will to post. Registration is mandatory for the Gallery of the Succubi and the Forum of the Succubi however to view or read those sections.
It is recommended that you use the same User ID and password in each part of Succubus.net.
