Succubi Image of the Week 331

It’s always nice I think to find an image of a Succubus that has character… A smile, an expression… Something that brings out the thought that she is more than simply a Succubus…

I do feel that this work expresses that quite nicely…

This work is called Succubus and is by an artist on DeviantArt called Minkart. You can find the original page I found this work on here and this artist’s page on DeviantArt is here.

There is so much to like in this work… Lovely expression, her smile is quite captivating… Lovely hairstyle and her outfit works really well with her body shape. I also like her tail and that it matches her horns and wings. I’m not quite sure I like the torn wings, but then I never really do for a lot of reasons. She has a bit of a Dungeons and Dragons vibe to her, but thankfully she hasn’t got red skin which I think would have looked awful here by far.

I like the slightly understated sexuality in her as well. She’s not “typical” which I feel is important and overall she could pass as human in any setting really which if you think about it wouldn’t be a bad thing for a Succubus to be able to do. There is a story in that somewhere I will have to ponder…

Please do visit this artist’s site on DeviantArt!

I really do like her, though I wonder about the bat emblazoned upon her chest. Is she somehow related to the Waynes of Gotham City, and does she prowl the night, seducing the criminal element and taking away their evil will, leaving them, by dawn, as slightly disoriented but law-abiding citizens?

And does Alfred Pennyworth consider her to be a stimulating romantic partner?
