Succubi Image of the Week 241

Every so often an artist takes a well known model or actress or other famous woman and turns her into an angel, or a mermaid or… occasionally… a Devil Girl or a Succubus…

Now, one of the most subjects that is transformed in different ways is Bettie Page for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is that she has that classical look that lends itself to really amazing art…

Like this…

You can see the larger version of this work where I discovered it on DeviantArt here, and you can find the artist JW Webb’s artist page on DeviantArt here as well.

I have to admit that the first thing I noticed was the tail wrapped about her legs… I love that bunches as I do when any Succubus art includes a tail. The small cute horns she has also adds so much to my enjoyment of this art as well. The thigh-high boots are a perfect touch for her pose too. I think that the art is very life-like, incredibly well rendered and painted, and I think it is a lovely tribute to Betty herself…

I do wonder about the setting a little bit, I’m not quite sure if she is being summoned by someone or if she is sort of the greeting one receives when they enter her world…

Either way, it makes for something to ponder a story over…

The artist has quite a number of works on their page, some of which are in the comic  world, others in the fantasy world and as well they have done some art covers as well as comic book covers too…

And they do, occasionally, take commissions…

I would love to have one someday…

Please do visit their site on DeviantArt and leave comments!

She is quite lovely, but the blankness of her eyes bothers me. It is as if she is possessed, and we know that succubi do the possessing . . . 😉
