Temptations 69

Some choice are. Some can be harder and mean more than you can know. The Succubi Queen knows this and hopes that we will all learn…

Temptations 69

By TeraS and Legion & Alei

I turn to Maria.

“Will you let me help you Maria? Maybe together we can find your path.”  I say as I extend my hand.
Maria was deeply suspicious.  This had been her folly and she wasn’t about to make the same mistake again, especially with the consort of the Queen who was a mortal no less.  She had done enough harm all around and wasn’t about to compound it.

Eyeing Andrea with deep suspision she muttered, “That depends… on what you plan to do.  If it involves harming you, the Queen, or the bond you two share I would rather be dead than cause more harm due to my folly, or at the very least have faith in Legion to deal with it.”

“I’m not sure wither to take that as a compliment or not,” Legion muttered.

“I do not know you Andrea and while you must be extraordinary to win the heart of the Queen, it is because of that I am not willing to allow you to sacrifice yourself or what you have gained with our Queen to fix the damage I have caused.  You have said that Legion is a being that knows no right or wrong, but he is willing to help me undo my mistake… and whatever price he demands will be from me and me alone, as it should be.  Part of what has caused this is my abandoning my responsabilities, and I will not make that mistake again.”

I look over at my beloved and smile before turning back to Maria.

“You are not human and neither is Legion. so perhaps this is a mystery to you both.  But I am.  Legion can not ‘fix’ this.  The only being in this universe who can is you.”  I say in a soft voice.

“These children have already lost a mother and that is not something that is easy for a human child to recover from.  But they have found one again, learned to love and accept her as their own.  That is not an easy thing to do.  Whatever else I or Legion or Tera may try to do, it can not be more than a poor reflection of what it truly needed.  And that Maria is you.  Whatever it is that you are, that is what your children have accepted into their hearts and souls.  Whether you understand this or not, only you can do what needs to be done.  If you will allow me, I can help you find what you need.”

“If not,”  I say with a sigh, “Then I believe that Tera will make that choice for you.  I think she was preparing to rip your page from the book of the Succubi.  I’m not sure, but I think that would make you into a mortal woman and you would be lost to us forever.”

“Will you let me help you.”  I say holding out my hand.

Maria looked at the woman and at the Queen.  She had been correct in what she had said about the Queen, she would have ripped her from the book.  It seemed the choice was taken from her no matter what she did.  Fate, the Queen, and her own folly had brought her to a place where she had no choice at all.

She looked at Andrea and her eyes were very serious, “If you can swear to me on your love for the Queen that your help will not cost you your love for the Queen and that you both will be together, then yes, I will accept your help.  If not…”

She looked at the Queen deeply in the eyes, “If not… even though it is not my choice… rip my name from the book and burn it forevermore.”

“No Maria, if I am right, this will cause no harm to any, not me, not Terra, not you.”

I gently take her hand and look her in the eye.   I did not wish for Legion to see this, but there is more at stake here than just one deal making being.

“Now Maria, I want you to think about your children, think about your husband, feel for them the love you have for them in your heart.” I say softly …

I look at her, and smile.

I see her eyes widen as she feels it and I pour my love into her … not the shades of an immortal life, but the love of one who’s each moment is precious and valued … .  My smile radiates like a newborn sun as my passion flows from me like a great river finding her love for her children and family … and then stoking it, increasing it, pouring myself into it … sending my own ache at losing my family to her, while driving into her my most desperate desires … a mothers love for her children … a love that will let nothing stand between them and her … ever … a love that will risk everything, anything, a love that demands that it be served.  I share with her my passion, letting it flow within her to every part of her … burning and soothing.

It is not the love of a succubus … it is the love and fierce passion of a human mother who lives for and loves her children and family above all other things … a mother which will let nothing stand between her, and those that need her.

I feel her resist me for a moment … but even the angels of heaven can not do so if I pour my soul into what I am … as I am doing now.

There is nothing more important I whisper into her soul. Nothing.

I feel her tremble … her eyes open wide and I see it … the shock, as if a veil lifted from her eyes … I see the passion burning within her as she looks out upon a new world she never dared dream existed.

I see more as well … I can not spend myself in this way without leaving something of me behind … she will love me as well, for the rest of eternity … but she will love her children even more.

Gently I caress her cheek and feel her smooth skin press against it … and I smile.   A smile of friendship and compassion flowing out of me to her.

“Now you understand Maria … but you are not alone.  If you are ever in doubt or need our aide, call.  I don’t know how things work in the world of succubi, but I do know what it means to be a friend.  You will not be alone in this … ever.”

Not being alone. That’s what really matters. It odes as we will see…

Still just catching up . . . sorry to be late.

Alei’s writing (I am guessing) was particularly lovely here.

    It was my heart…
