A Succubus for Christmas…

A Succubus for Christmas… While this isn’t that time of year, it is spring after all, it is the title of a collection of short stories that has appeared on Amazon.com recently…

A Succubus for Christmas and Other Tales of Devilish Delights is a collection of short stories by the author known as M. E. Hydra, or more popularly in the erotica field as Many-Eyed Hydra.

This collection of thirteen of his works encompasses most of the short stories he has published on such sites as MCStories.com and literotica.com.

Currently, it is available on Amazon.com in paperback form, but according to an email from the author I received, it will be available as well as a download on eXcessica.com in October of this year.

I have been a long time fan of Hydra’s works for many years now, he has a wonderful style of writing and the way he describes Succubi in his stories is quite delicious…

I have to admit that his Succubi are penned in the manner of the classical definition of Succubi, so they tend to consume those that they interact with in his stories as they do in the myths and legends… This does make me pause occasionally at some of the more… involved scenes that Hydra pens, but I can overcome my dislike of that for the descriptions and actions that his Succubi perform…

A very small sample of his writing, from his story Slayer vs. Succubus in which the Succubus of the story first appears:

She leaned against a bookcase, her hips pushed forward as she struck a provocative pose. She wasn’t wearing a stitch of clothing. Her voluptuous figure was completely naked. Carpenter marvelled at the full swell of her ample breasts, her long legs and the elegant features of her face. Black hair cascaded down her back in waves.

The babe was a demon.

Her skin was a deep blood red. Two black wings were folded behind her back. A tail, complete with a little arrow point, flicked back and forth between her ankles. Her ears were pointed, she had two horns on her head and her eyes looked like two doorways into the abyss. Despite this her face was still more beautiful than the most exotic model.

She was a demon babe. No, she was a demon mega-babe.

I love the way in which the overpowering erotic power of the Succubus in the story is displayed in this one short introduction of her. You can almost picture her just in the few words that tell of what she appears as here…

That is probably Hydra’s  greatest gift in his works… The way he gives you enough detail to cause your imagination to fill in the blanks in just the right way to complete the story for you…

I hope that he will be writing more of his tales of the Succubi soon…

I will be watching…

Many thanks for the glowing review 😀 . Its current availability on Amazon is a mistake on Createspace’s part. My publisher (eXcessica) confirmed the book won’t officially be out until October. Anyone who’s already put an order in should get the book nice and early, but everyone else will have to wait until the official release in October – Sorry!

Wish that I was going to get a copy early ME, but Amazon cancelled the order on me… Oh well… I will reorder in the fall!

Aw, that’s annoying. I was told the existing orders should ship as normal.

Grr. I should send Nyte over to sort CreateSpace out 🙂

Amazon.com no longer has the novel in stock. Anyone else know of alternatives to purchase it?

There aren’t any that I know of as yet… Just have to wait until later this year when they actually release it.. The Amazon listing was an error and only a lucky few that ordered it before they pulled it have it…

    I wish I was one of them…
