Where exactly is the Lost Girl Succubus?

Well over a year ago, I posted here on the Tale about a Canadian television show that was under production for the 2010 season…

That show is called Lost Girl, and you can find an entry in the SuccuWiki here.

Now according to the releases on this show, it was supposed to premiere this past February.

Well it didn’t.

What bothers me more is that there are no news items on it, no official releases, nothing to indicate if the show is still under production or if they have decided to drop the series…

As well, if you check the IMDb database on this show, which you can here, the lead actress is no longer listed as being involved with it!

Anna Silk was listed as playing the lead character Bo for the pilot, which you can see here, but now all that are listed on the series page is:

Ksenia Solo…Kenzi
Kristen Holden-Ried…Dyson
Sarah Allen…Lauren
Zoie Palmer…Lauren (2010) (uncredited)

So then, does that mean that Anna Silk isn’t involved any longer?

What’s really odd is that Showcase, the television channel that was to show this series, has not a piece of information on the series other than their blog announcing that the pilot had wrapped production and that a series was ordered.

And then all goes quiet, which to me at least, is an indication that something happened to the series somewhere or something changed to put this to the side…

So, if there is anyone that has a clue, I’d like to know what is happening with the series…

Waiting and not knowing a thing really is a pain…

You’re very likely never to know, Majesty. Television is a more mysterious–and often less accessible–place than the Realm.

Of course, it mayhave been even better than “The Middleman.” Thus, instead of being cancelled after one season, it never got to air at all!!

True, but we can hope for something eventually to appear…
