Succubi Image of the Week 115

For the next few weeks, I am going to share the artwork of one particular artist from Deviantart that has created a series of Succubi images using some of the most well known names in Succubi mythology…

The artist is known as Genzoman and this image is called Agrat Bat Mahlat…

Genzoman’s Deviantart site can be found here.

And you can find the original page with this work here on Deviantart as well.

The myth of Agrat Bat Mahlat is that she is, according to Zoharistic Qabalah, one of the four angels of prostitution, who mates with Samael.

She is described as being a Succubus and her fellow succubi are Lilith, Naamah, and Eisheth Zenunim, all of whom when looking at their myths, seem to reflect the different powers of Succubi…

Over the course of the next four weeks, I will be sharing Genzoman’s images of those other Succubi so that perhaps some comparisons can be made from them as a group…

In myth, Agrat is seen as the mistress of illusion or, more properly, deception which is one of the powers of a Succubus according to their mythos. So in a way, she is the embodiment of that part of their powers really…

I love this particular drawing for several reasons, most of all that she seems to be approaching someone with bemusement over them being in her realm, or power, and what she might do with them…

Just lovely, sexy, and beautiful!

Next week…

Lilith…

She does look bemused, doesn’t she? But, Majesty, while I can still appreciate her beauty as art, I hope it’s a bit abstract; there is no way, in a universe with the physics ours has, that those wings, attached at that point in that way, are getting that woman off the ground, even if her bones are as hollow as a bird’s. 😕
