Site stuff n stuff…

Just some notes about Succubus.net for those interested in what’s going on…

The main page has been changed to a Halloweenish theme for October finally, and hopefully  I’ll remember to change it to a Thanksgiving theme in November and so forth as the year continues on…

You may or may not have noticed in the side bar the changes for the Forum, the Gallery and Story links…

I have delayed the storysite to next year mostly because I am not getting back a lot of response, read as only one, from authors that are interested in having their stories held here on Succubus.net. So until I have more of a response, or I manage to get myself writing longer and better stories, that part of the site will be delayed…

The galleries I will try to have running after the Forum is up, mostly because I feel that the Forum will allow for some interaction between the people making the images and those viewing them… I’d like to see requests and ideas for manips and other things there if possible… Not to mention that I want to have a large section of the Forum devoted to a massive RP set in The Realm of the Succubi for those that enjoy RPing like me…

The galleries will be requiring users to sign in to view them much like the Collective is set up, and I will probably be using Coppermine as the software for that mostly because I am used to it…

The other thing that is happening is that Dreamhost is going to be moving their hosting around to a new system and new servers. When? Not sure really. They say any time from now to a year from now…

Connected to that was an offer for unlimited storage and bandwidth if you were an early adopter of this move, or rather a guinea pig. As a result, there is a possibility that at some point the entire Succubus.net site might go down for an unknown length of time when this move happens.

Keep your tails crossed…

Always grand to know how you are looking out for things here, Majesty. But wouldn’t a screen change in November celebrate the wrong Thanksgiving? 😉

Hope you’re worried today is only over the same mess that everyone else is worried about.
