It’s too hot baby…

It’s going to be a warm day in the Realm today…

40 degrees C…

Which brings me to a topic…

Horn and Tail colours…

Not so much that they have colours but rather that in a lot of drawings and so on that the horns don’t match the tail colourwise… For example, black horns with a red tail or blue horns with a green one… I don’t get that… It seems somewhat odd to me that this seems to be a popular method of depicting Succubi…

Now I am biased as my horn and tail are red… My Tailself, when she’s present are black, but that’s another story to explain at a later point what a Tailself is…

Generally I would think that most artists would take a Succubi to have red horns and tail because of the demonic implications of what they are and that’s fine. In Fact I would expect it mostly…

But a thought came to me about the combining of two colours on one Succubi, what if that happens because she is unwell or in pain or something like that? Sort of a moodstoneish idea if you follow…

In my Rping I usually use my tail to do things like twist into a question mark or look over my shoulder at someone quizzically… It’s sort of my mood indicator that way… The other thing that happens with it is that on occasion it bampfs a little sign on a stick which it holds and puts comments on it to show whomever I am talking to…

Tail has, after all, her own mind…

Anyway, I have yet to meet a Succubi or Succubus in my Rping that has a split colour personality and I think that it really shouldn’t be something that happens a lot…

I mean honestly…

Pink and Green?

Ew…

Again, Majesty, you are assigning to some mortal artists (and I use that word loosely here) a level of thought and attention to detail which they should have, but don’t. Maybe that’s just the heat fogging your normally pristine judgment. 😉

It’s just as hot here–maybe a tad warmer. I’m taking a short break in the work day, but I’ll send you some prezzies later, if I can–including something to make you think cool thoughts. 8)
